Hey i know this is for hondas, but my mates got a new ss holden ute and he just bought 4 inch speakers 4 it and he said that u gota take off the hole door to put in the speakers.
It looks like to me that u can just take out the mesh from the front doors and put in a new speaker like the ones on my eg civic front door.
If anyone knows any thing about it or knows where i could find o ut it would be much appreciated!

which SS Ute?... VZ, VY or VU??... should have to take the whole door panel off...

Its a vz ute! yeah they said he thinks he might have to take out the whole door trim like u do when u take out the trim to put a new window in! even though there is a grill like on the eg civics if u know wat i mean! So wat u rekon u can just snap out the grill do u know 4 sure??

You'll have to take the whole door trim off yeah but that isn't a very big job. :)

yea same as wat others have said. When i put in new speakers on my teg, i had to take it all off. Didn't wanna risk it tryin snap off the grill aye.

Cause apparently there is heaps of electronics that he doesnt want to stuff up?
Do u think its better of just taking it to a proffesional?

it aint that hard mate... i've done it before.. wat electronics?.. as long as u dont cut up any wires, except the speaker wires, then u should be sweet..

door trim isnt hard to take off/put on on most cars, just watch what wires ur cutting lol

Yeah jmun ive done it too i changed the arm 4 the electronic windows on my eg, just wondering about the ss? so uve done it on the ute before?
So after u take out the door trim is it pretty easy and is it like a civic door basicly?

pretty much man... shouldnt be very high tech seeing its jus a Holden :p..
