MSD coil kit for an OBD0

Im looking at getting a kit, in an attempt to fix what feels like an ignition issue,
intermittent power loss whilst cruising poppy exhaust, incl backfire.

now im not sure which kit to get as they all say 99-00 civic SI B16

but mine is a b16a SiR1 (JDM engine from an EF)

are they basically the same,


wanted to get the kit with the cap, leads, and coil, maybe even get the plugs as well so i can rule it off.

is your ECU stock, if your backfiring and loosing power, you should check your leads, plugs and also ensure you have no fault codes in the ECU.

a MSD kit for EG, EK, BB can be wired up to the OBDO Civic.

from more research, if i can locate the correct cap, and rotor it should fit. I was looking at getting an entire kit with leads, my plugs are quite new too. ill pull them out and inspect them though.
