Ok guys.
I know you are probably all SICK AND TIRED of hearing this stuff but ill make it short and painless. And Yes i have allready done many searches on ozhonda for the answers that i seek.

I live in brisbane.
Does anyknow know a place in brisbane/gold coast that will do a strait japspec b16a/b18c conversion into an eg civic 4 door for a set price?. so a place that will source a motor and do the conversion.

If so. Who will? and What price

Ps. if your going to post in this thred dont give me useing comments such as...
'have you searched for this topic'....'you should do this conversion in sted'

b18c is definitely going to be more expensive, not only the engine, but you'll need custom mounts..
as the b16a is available for the EG, you won't need to change the mounts, so it'll be a straight bolt in swap..

b16a and b18c = same mounts

not too sure about EG's but in my case (gen2 crx) i needed the rear engine bracket from an LS intergra:thumbsup:

nah, japspec b16a had mounts for EG..
Whereas if you get an AUDM b16a, you'll need custom mounts to convert into an EG..

just remember that you won't be gettin the full potential outta JDM engines, since there`s only 98 RON fuel available in australia.. unless you use octane boosters all the time ;)

I don't think those "octane booster" could actually increase the "Octane", It's just some addictives....

to answer your original question:
drive in-drive out my conversion was $3200 for full front end- and he said it would be less if he did it again coz he would know what problems would encounter (e.g airgbag if your car is a vti etc).

this was for a EG Vti sedan, full front cut conversion to JDM SiRII b16a2 (cut cost $3250 on top of all else).

Was done by Ron Gillard in Ballina. Pm for more details

Have not had a single problem with the conversion, was extremely profesionally done and Ron knows his stuff with performance cars.

i am in Brisbane too, if u want to check out my conversion, PM me

time to do swapover was 1 1/2 weeks, but i had to book like 3 months in advance..

hope this helps

and i got my cut from Adelaide Jap. they can be sourced from any import wreckers (sss auto, Jap performance, Adelaide Jap, etc. Theres a place at slacks creek but i cant remember its name)
