I think it's much harder to do with AUDM civics..
As the AUDM AC Unit is cable.. If you did have a JDM car, it'd be much easier to perform, as the JDM AC Unit is electric, and is like an actual headunit itself..

But if you're really desperate in doing it, give it a go, if it doesn't fit, just put it all back together.. It'll be something nice to do on a boring night

civ_sik when u come get the corner light, ill give u a slight indication of how hard it is, i had to replace the central command unit for the aircon and fan, for my car and ive got a dash that might give u an indication if the sterio headunit would fit or not..

i know it would be possible in my car. like tripitaka said, my climate control is like another head unit. as long as their is enough slack in the wires to move up or down.
but whats the purpose?

i can imagine it though, but think bout it, with your deck being higher u would simply attract more attention to other cars for it will b more visible..
1 good thing is u can have a dvd player without blocking the aircon nomore..

one bad thing is that, if you had a dvd player/screen on the top..
on cold days when you want to put the heater on, your fans will most likely blow onto the back of the screen.. heating it up, possibly causing some damage..
