how to chip ecu for P73 003

blank MCU for OBDIIa is hard to find. They are one time write and no one supports them on a commercial level.

Don't you need OBD1 P72/P28 to chip? I'd think any OBD2 unit would have the same issues with socketing as P73.

its not worth the trouble to socket the OBDIIa ECU even though they are able to be socketed.

1. to make changes to your ROM you have to replace the MCU each time. The MCU has the ROM space internally for the engine maps and its ROM (READ ONLY MEMORY). To make a change you must program another MCU every time where OBDI you just reprogram an EEPROM
2. These MCU are not readily availaible
3. No support for OBDIIa Maps like there is with OBDI

what are you trying to achive ? why do you keep making refference to P28 and P73 ?

If you want to retune your B18C then get a compatible OBDI ECU and Hondata S300 and spend the $$ for a dyno tune. You will not find a "one chip fits all" Chip that will give more performance.
