Hi all,

As of today, I bought a 2002 Civic Type-R...what an amazing car to drive. The feel from the acceleration and steering wheel is so responsive with the delivery of power smooth as warm butter. You don't even realise how fast you are going until you look down and suddenly you are at 100km/h in second gear on the highway! The gearshift position is genius and feels very natural having it so elevated. The car itself is just a well crafted and beautifully engineered piece of work. The car itself is stock with the exception of a Mugen front spoiler and Buddyclub wheels.

As for me coming from the dark side, my previous car for 11 years was a 1995 Mistubishi FTO GPX (black colour haha). I was a member of the FTO Australia car club for many years and I hope to enjoy the camaraderie of the members here with regular cruises/BBQ's or whatever it is you all do. :) The FTO served me very well and in that time I only had one mechanical fault with it...however it was time to move on, so yes, I have converted!

Also as a second job, I am a Photographer! So if you are interested in getting a few happy snaps of your Honda in the Sydney City or Blue Mountains area (I go up once a week there) please get in touch and I am happy to get some nice shots your way to show off on the forum. :)

Hope to meet some of you soon.

Hi,

What an awesome looking car. I am semi jealous! Looks really nice and aggressive with the black rims.

I have always been a huge fan off that particular model.

Thanks mtremi0,

I got it checked over 2 days after I bought it and my mechanic who looked after my previous car said this one was perfect. I'll ditch the tyres once they wear out and move back to C-Drives though!

Ah yes it is a pretty roomy shed! We built it at the back of the house a few years ago, not sure why haha. We have five cars here but it can hold up to 9 or so comfortably we think.
