the HASport kits are made to fit B-series transplants into D-series crx/civic's ... if you have a true EF9 then the kit wont help you...

if you have a true EF9 then you are running a b16a engine already ... so it's a matter of doing a hydro gearbox swap... the ITR engine will drop straight into your original mounting brackets... just use the stock ITR engine mounts that come with the engine.

Just curious..what happened to the original motor in the EF9?

Did it die on you? Or are you just inspred by the BM Type one tuned EF9 with ITR motor under the hood.... Spoon CEO says that an ITR into EF9 is no big drama. just the wheel offset is an issue. with the bigger donk the lap time is the same as CTR...

Into an EF9, no problems. Into an ED6 (Aussie spec 4G) you need the hasport mounts.

Yeah, if your doing the conversion into a ED then get Hasport mounts. And like what Panda said, go through FullRace, they ship to Australia. And if your going to do it, do it properly, get the shift linkage and axles too. I did and I have not had a problem at all.

But then again, if you actually have a EF9 (Jap Spec SIR), then you dont need mounts. The ITR engine should fit into the mounts made for the B16 engine you already have.
