Hi,
I'm posting in this forum (and this section of this forum) because I'm a noob and this is a noob question - I didn't want to clog up the Honda subforum with it...
Anyway, I am looking to downgrade my current car to fund traveling, and an opportunity might have came up with a 1990 Honda CRV. I've been reading around this place a bit but am still not sure about this model's reputation, longeivity in general. The car I'm looking at has had two previous owners and 170 000km driven on it and going for a round 6k.
I will take it to my mechanic if things progress but I'm wondering if anyone could say anything about the reputation of this model car, likelihoods re its longevity etc... I'm read that manual transmission Hondas are a lot more likely to last than automatic, and that's good as this car is manual, however beyond this... Your help would be appreciated :)
Cheers
