How much do the new stock 05 S2000's rim weigh? with or without the tire. And how much do the Volk CE28 18x9.5 or 18x8.5 weigh?

doesn't have the weight of the size you are after, but it seems going up in size increase weights by approximately 3-4 pounds... so you get a rough guide.

i bought a set of 18" volk te37s for my s2k
stock rim and tyre weighed in at 17.5kgs (rear) and i weighed the 18" volk with 235/40/18 rubber and it weighed exactly the same

you do realise there's a lot more metal in an 18" rim than a 16"??? imagine if your stock rims were made to 18", the total weight would be 20kg+.

huge bonus to have larger, nicer looking rims with little/no weight penalty. Without a doubt, the lighter the rim the better. ;)
