Currently running the OBD0 B16A JDM engine in my EG.

I want to go to OBD1 (as the chassis should be obd1), the ecu inside the car is OBD0.

what wiring harness would i need?
obd0-obd1?

it seems the old harness has been chopped and had obd0 plug soldered on to fit the ECU, which is all running well, but OBD1 would be better for tune-ability.

thanks guys.

if its originally obd1 get a obd 1 harness and solder it up,or if your happy with wiring that's theres already get a jumper harness from obd0-obd1

what about the o2 sensor? it would need to go 4 wire for the obd1.

looks like it has standard grey plugs on the sides (2 big ones) but then they all go and plug into obd0 gear with cream colours.
plus it seems to go to a OBD0 ECU.

so just a conversion harness should send the right connections in the right ECU pins? i see that logic.
just confused on whtether or not i stil need obd1 Dizzy (with OBD0 dizzy harness)
and where the 4 wire o2 would go.

You need an OBD1 dizzy with an OBD0-OBD1 dizzy conversion hardness. OBD1 ECU. OBD0-OBD1 ECU conversion hardness. Unsure about O2 sensors.

rywire make a OBD1 dizzy with obd0 plugs too btw.

ECU-MAN directed me to a good lil diy using the boomslang obd0-1 harness.

so ill get the Dizzy and Chipped ECU through rywire with the base map for my b16
