Okay I'm sure for some of you this may be a noob question but I have looked and haven't found any actual help.
What I'm wanting to know is whether I can use the b18c7 loom and ecu for a heart transplant into an ek1.
I know the loom stops at the strut tower and that everyone says to use the ek4 loom with adapter.
But I'm wanting to DIY and make a tucked loom so the bay looks nice and clean. I have worked with electrical for majority of my working life so the physical part isn't too hard.
I just want to know whether the loom will actually mate up to the ek1 or not.
And if not can anyone give me the reason why??
Thanks a heaps

Yeah. As I said. Doesn't answer my question. Just tells me to buy an ek4 loom

its not worth anyones time trying to modify integra harness in your ek.
you need to use ek4 or modified ej8 harness.

integra harness is 2 piece, splits at shock tower. ej8/ek4 harness is one piece from engine all the way to ecu.
cant use ek1 harness cos different ecu plugs and not same efi system.
ek1 is not same as obd2a/b you see on integras and civic vtir

I know all that. And no one is modifying it. I am.
My question has still not been answered

oh ok sorry.
i think the only difference is on the green plug near ecu.
you have to make that plug, there should be pinouts in service manual

not sure if anyone ever done that before lol

Hi

I can make you a custom loom using the D16Y4 engine harness, DC2 cabin harness and you can then run the OBDIIa and DC2 engine loom in the EK1

PM me for more details
