GD Jazz door open but interior light not come on

hi, anyone have similar problem to your jazz?

when door open but the interior light didn't come on even the switch on the light already put on Door.

When switch put on "ON" , and it works fine... so for sure it is not the light problem...

all four door haven't same problem... so anyone know how to fix this?

Checked your fuse box recently?

Do you know what bulb you have in there? On my old 03 VTI-S i put a Repco bulb in and had similar strange issues... I then got one from Honda and somehow it fixed it. Might be worth a shot for a couple of dollars. I tried two Repco bulbs before getting one from Honda parts.

Yeah the wattage is lacking im guessing on that circuit.

it happen to me,

luckily my FD civic was under warranty and had the whole dome light changed

go get it checked if under warranty

that light has a controller,
does the light on the dash come on to say the door is opened?

then u can determine if the door switch isnt working.
