When i accelerate i hear crucccc sound and when i decelerate i hear it too neutral nuthin clutch in nuthing? any1 know wat the sound is

You do this a bit to often bud. It is impossible to diagnose a sound on a public forum. Please upload a recording of the sound to make life easier for everyone

i dont fink its the engine mounts, friends says its gearbox?

just checking cos ep3 well known to have ruined engine mounts
and my m8 replaced them and it helped with the vibrations

OP

got same noise on my GD Jazz. If your shifter is going into all of the gears smoothly without any crunches or stiffness, then its most likely your spiggot/thrust bearing (clutch bearing) is goneskies.

It will not cause any other further damage but is a pain in the arse hearing it as you take off. If the noise is really pissing you off, then there is no point just changing this bearing without changing your clutch as well.

kill two birds with one cumshot! = wynnings!

If it's a ringing noise, it's the input shaft.

These pictures are from when I replaced my snapped clutch fork, but shows you what it is:

It's not detrimental to the car/box.. Just sounds annoying.
