It just happen recently or your car is a new 2nd hand car?? it could be the alarm system.

I program my previous car's alarm to lock the car 20 seconds after I close the door and key is not at ACC or car not started, no need to worry did I lock the car or not. When driving it will lock once I brake. You will have to refer to the alarm manual on how to reprogram it if that is the case.

Is your battery old and almost flat?

Battery is the issue???? 2 years maybe.

disconnect the battery overnight, see if that helps after the ECU resets.
I dont think batt will cause this auto locking issue, but no harm borrowing another battery to test.

Also remove the battery from your remote, it could be remote faulty sending the lock signal.
