appreciate the quick reply. heard all forward facing lights should be white/yellow, don't wanna get any issues from the cops. they're plastic covers so I can peel em off if I do get any trouble I guess lol

Look m8... no one cares about amber corners.

Enjoy them and don't worry about the cops. They got better things to defect.

Sorry, I'd have to disagree there.

These will be illuminating amber which might confuse motorists into thinking he might be indicating.

Yep, its illegal.

All forwards pointing lights must be white, unless its an indicator, in which case it must illuminate amber, but only when indicating, and it must flash.

Isn't that an indicator? Pre-facelift...?

nope, parker. No EF/ED/EE has the indicator in the corner.

Interesting because don't some BMW's have amber parker lights? I would have assumed that it would be legal if it came factory as always, and if not, you are UNLIKELY to be defected for it but it's always possible.

Although i have seen a few german SUVs with amber sidelights.

But i think cops dont really care about sidelights.

I see a few cars these days with green LED sidelights they got off ebay.

Rules for foglights are they must be "white" or selective yellow

I think cops care more about taillight tinting

I wouldn't worry about it.

to the OP, why not keep the amber parkers but re-route the wiring so they are used a blinkers?

and the blinkers would now become parkers. i've seen the usa guys do it a long time ago, there should be some info on how to do this on the internet.

I did that on my old ED hatch.

Its easy as fuark.

Unpin, or chop the wires behind each plug, and swap. Corner becomes blinker, blinker becomes parker.

Did you do a diy article for it? I must have seen it here. Looked good

The other thing that i was considering was something totally different.

Drill holes, and have parkers in main headlight housing.

Have corners as indicators.

Use lights in bar as foglights/DRLs
