hi guis!
I have just picked myself up a Nighthawk Black 2001 DC2 Type R :honda:
I'm ultra new to the whole performance car scene in general as I have only owned crappy BMW slugs so far (e30 & e36) :zip:
So yea go easy on my noob questions if you see me around :P
pics or it didn't happen:

welcome abourd.
What are your plans for the new purchase?
200k build or just a nice car to drive around or somewhere in between?
anyway, whatever your plans, don't hesitate to ask questions if you have any.....

So the following has been done to the car so far:
- Mugen Cold Air Intake (FUAAAAA :D as overpriced as this is.. wow it really changes the cars performance, has this really deep growl to it as opposed to a stock DC2R)
- Spoon Clutch
- Spoon Flywheel
- Tein Coilovers... (Not actually sure on the model.. Need to dust off the springs and inspect closer)
Now my plans aren't for some $200K race car.. just an every day driver that i could maybe take to the track once in a blue moon :P
If anyone has some suggestions of where to go from here to unlock the full power of this beast, please let me know!

lol... i probs shouldn't have posed such an open ended question...
uh yeah no kswaps.. no turbo's (not yet at least) & no NOS lol
i have 3 questions for everyone:
1st. Does anyone know where to buy some Honda Ignition Lock Shear Nuts in sydney? Do i just go to Honda? (similar to the honda one http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2x-SHEAR-BOLTS-STEERING-LOCK-51K4001L-LANDROVER-MINI-MG-/360120776506?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item53d8def73a&_uhb=1)
2nd. My Drivers side window is being dodgy and decides to work one day and the next doesn't work... any suggestions on a fix? is it most likely the motor driving the window? or are the switches/ rubber seals known to wear out easy? not exactly sure how to test what is actually at fault here...
3rd. The red recaro seats have seen better days.. how do i clean them? i have black wear marks from the years of people sitting on them... i'm just scared to use a cleaning product that will stain them even worse.. any suggestions would be great!
tanks!

Use a soft wool wash detergent.
Brush to scrub, hose, etc.
Wet vac and dry in the sun or shade. Up to you.
