Hey guys! I'm lookin to buy an Xcarlink or something similar for my 2004 Cl9, i'm not too sure which one I should get or if there are better options out there over xcarlink??

I'm looking at both the

however on both they say 'Please note: This item is NOT compatible with stereos that have the 6 CD Player built into the stereo.'
does that include my stock 6 stacker in my Cl9? :)
thanks guys!!

Both are probably fine. I believe the issue is with UK accords w/GPS as they use the stacker plug at the rear of the unit for another function.

Hey kubs,

I posted this for a member who had a similar question a few months ago:

I ordered and installed a kit from Cushie Audio last month, and I'm really happy with the product, as well as the personalised after sales support + communication.

For the CL9, they have these units available:
http://www.cushieaudio.com.au/vehicl...urer_honda=550

There's a chart listing which sockets are compatible with which car so you can decide for yourself which one you need.
As an added layer of controls, the company also requests your vehicle make/year to make sure they send you out the right components.

I also purchased this: http://www.cushieaudio.com.au/dtm4.html which made the installation process much easier.

In my case, I only wanted the bluetooth and didn't want any cables sticking out so I purchased the GROM http://www.cushieaudio.com.au/honda-ipd3.html with the bluetooth adapter (no ipod cable).

The biggest advantage in purchasing from Cushie Audio is that they're an Australian trader, meaning any purchases you make from them will be covered by the Australian Consumer Law even if it is over the internet.

As for your concern, the unit is compatible and even comes with a splitter should you want to connect another device.

Apologies for the white-wash (taken on my iPhone) and the dirtiness of my car - it's due to be repaired by the insurance company so I haven't bothered to vacuum it.

The cable is hidden behind the trim (secured by a cable tie) and is tight against the plastic, so there is no chance that it will catch

I also have the grom unit. Awesome thingy.

I stashed my mic behind the little vent to the left of the instrument cluster.

Hey buddy! I haven't been on the forums for awhile now because I've been too busy irl so sorry for the late reply!
I ended up getting the cheaper GROM unit for $140, it works amazing and it is so simple to install! I just keep it in the glove box and an AUX cable hangs out, doesn't really bother me. If ya going to buy the GROM unit though, make sure you buy the iPhone cable if you have an iPhone as it allows ya to use the steering wheel controls :P I didn't realise how annoying it was without being able to readily change songs from my steering wheel!!!
