Civic ignition problem

So I changed my ignition barrel in my ek last night, put the key in and turned it, all I got was the green key/immobiliser light flashing. Does anyone know what I need to do? I was thinking I have to get my immobiliser to recognize the new key or something?

you'll have to get the new key re-coded to match the ECM

haha couldnt gather much from that link bro, i guess its just my immobilizer not letting the car fire cause its not recognising the new key? i even tried putting my old key next to immobilizer and trying to start but same issue
