Im in the same boat. I pay $70 a month under my dads name. Bingle insurance is my insurer, however I just found out if the car is modified in any way I will not be insured :S. So i dont know how good this is...may need to find a new insurer...:(
If your car is stock however, this is perfect. Hope this helps

Hey everyone give ai insurance a call providing you havent had any claims and mod don't exceed 50% of the market value you should be ok otherwise you can go with just car which run of who ever offers the cheapest repair quote to fix your car. Also I think dawes do modified cars famous insurance & shannons to which underwritten by the gready bastards suncorp
