Hey installing some speakers 4 a friend in a eg sedan.
I am goin to install 6 inch splits. Just wondering where people have installed there tweeters in there eg sedan before and if they would reccomend it?
Also if anyone would like me to post pics on how to do it once ive finished?

sorry, saw no mention of the speaker being installed in the rear in the initial post.

Most people don't bother with splits in the rear, as they're little more than rear fill (when you have decent fornts installed). It's a lot easier and more practical to do as most others do and simply use coaxial speakers for the rear. Unless, of course, you're going for a decent surround sound set-up. Then the benifits may be present, although still debatable. just my opinion.

with tweeters in the rears, where are your drivers installed? parcel shelf or doors?...

Yes like that link says experiment... It depends where your friend likes it (ie sound of it).. I like mine low coz it seems to be less "attacking"

yea man they make sounds better except mine are in the front on the dash man
