I was wondering who i would need to contact or how i would go about getting my cams licence, would like to know from ppl who have done this what the test involves such as what they test you on etc.

no tests involved for level 2 licences, you pay your money that is it!

contact you local club too - you need to be a CAMS club member to race in events ;)

to just get your basic CAMS licence, so you can participate in sprint days, all you need to do is fill out a form. I think its called a 2s licence or something. You can just get thing form from the cams website: www.cams.com.au (http://www.cams.com.au/)

It will cost a bit under $100 I think from memory.

Awesome, i was under the the impression you had to do like a driver course or something to get the cams licence, (thanks to melb gp celeb race):rolleyes: which leads me to the next question do they just let anyone out on the track once the licence has been issued

no, not just *anyone* - you have to be healthy and able to see and not on drugs

download the form - it is all there for you to see ;)
