i have been searching around for engine management solutions for the 04 CL9
totally love the S300 on my EG and for around $600 it was a bargain imo

as far as i can tell the best Hondata solution for our cars is either the twin ECU and K-Pro or the TSX ECU and Flashpro - both of which are up around the $1500-$2000 mark

on the US forums alot of guys get the Hondata Reflash done on their standard ECU and they list it as around the $400 (usd) mark

can this be done in australia? are there any companies that can do it?

Revzone does Hondata reflash for Prefacelift CL9

it costs $1300 dollars

you'd better off getting flashpro.

Im trying to crack the CL9 ecu at the moment, but post facelift would come first because i know it's got rewritable eprom.

$1300 just for a reflash is way too much - could probably get a TSX ecu and Flashpro for that kind of money

from what i've been reading egcarbz it works for both auto and manual.

huge improvement in mid range is and slight improvement on high range.

i would mostly want the reflash for the lower vtec and stronger top end - but its not tunable and doesnt have output to computer
it also seems rather expensive in australia for what you get out of it - is there any cheaper alternatives?

the flashpro enables re-tunability so you could get it tuned specifically to the cars mods etc
and it has output to a computer so you can do basic diagnostics and have a temp HUD etc
so for the money i would rather save a bit and get a TSX ECU and a Flashpro ...
