airbox/intake interchangeable on eks

Pretty much want to know if an airbox and intake from an ek civic gli with sohc non vtec d16 fit a ej8 civic coupe sohc vtec d16? and will i be able to hook up the oxygen sensor without issues

EK1 - D16Y4 and EJ8 -D16Y8 are very similar motors with the exception of the Y8 having VTEC and slightly higher compression & making a tad more power, intakes are interchangeable and should have no issues if done correctly.

Small Modifications might be required i think. When I did the mini me swap on my brothers ej6 we faced this issue. Only minor mods required. Otherwise its gonna fit.

Remember to clean the intake IVAC and what not and change the gasket while your at it. Save you alot of time pulling everything off later.
