Skunk2 IM with OEM TB

Would the b18c7 throttle body bolt up directly to the skunk2 intake manifold without any port matching or boring? If not what modifications are needed to fit?

Yes it does not require any port matching as it is a bigger opening on the Skunk2 manifold.

Don't think the S2 unit is really worth it on a DC2R personally. OEM IM is a good mani.

Why don't you use the S2 TB also?

Well its something so many people do and even I have no idea as there is no power gain from the manifold swap only the TB makes a difference,good CAI/headers/exhaust/tuning and your away.

That's right.

ITR TB/IM for B16A on the other hand is a nice setup, and half the price of the S2 items (which are just an ITR knockoff with some minor adjustments anyway).

Apparently, and this has been shown through dyno results, that with the skunk2 im bored and port matched with a 70mm tb has approx. 5kw gains untuned. I am looking within a few months to move on to stage 2 cams, valvetrain and cam gears. I've currently got j's headers and catback, just improving the intake before i go do headwork and tune to make it all worth while.

I will be looking at tb either at the same time as the im or within a couple of weeks. don't want to unload $1k all at once for just intake lol
