got hands on eg coilovers (eye)
did some research on how to chuck them on my ej8
1. washers on stock lca
2. eg lca
3. Function7 dc2r lca

i am certain that 3. works but does aftermarket eg lca work as well?(2.)?
or only f7 lca

and is 1. even a considerable option?

use dc2r or aftermarket lower control arms...assuming eg coil overs will work with an ej8 idk
i dont even want to know what you mean by option 1

Option 2 won't work as stock eg lca is fork type, just go for dc2r stock lcas if you're only after the look, they are about $120-130, just make sure bushes are okay.

wtf all above are wrong

to fit eyelet suspension (EG6/DC2R) into an EK you can ONLY use F7 eyelet LCA's for EK

This is correct as the control arm length between eg/dc2 & ek are different

EG/DC2 rears have two types; being either eyelet (JDM) or fork (ADM)
to use ADM on EK u will just need spacers
to use JDM on EK u can ONLY go for F7 hybrid arms
to use EK rears suspension on EG(ADM) LCAs, u need to grind off the bushings

Refer to image EK LCA's are alot longer compared to DC/EG LCA's. The LCA will need to be same length.

My advice to people is usually to just buy sh!t that's made for your car.

Only exception for me is using the DC2R LCA's on EG's to go eyelet which isn't a big deal.

F7 parts are very expensive. Better off just selling them and buying the right coils.

very true...
F7 LCA cost no less than $400
i rather spend that extra to get some quality coilovers
