My DC5r handbrake is shit.
Can other DC5 owners lock their rears at will?
Other than adjusting the cable is there any other adjustment or way of improving the handbrake

Fork out the extra money to get another set of calipers on your rear discs to serve as a handbrake setup.

I'm a well practiced yanker so much so I can pretty much have a pull anywhere :-)
Not keen on forking out for a custom set up.
Surely Honda made something that worked from the factory?

Haha. I love bit of initial D.
No handbrake really stuffed my day at a motorkharna event. I was up the pointy end on the tarmac stages but as soon as the witches hats come out I was shit without a handbrake

Shorten the cables, or get hydraulic.

Those headers in that pic look nice their Rage. I dont think that the driver will be going to the dairy any time soon.
I have shorted the cable to the point of it dragging. Still not able to lock rears, even in the wet.
I'm looking at extending the arms that the cable connects to at the rear calipers.
Not keen on going hydraulic but might be the only alternative
