If u want vtec...get the engine with DOHC in the first place....

In terms of long term mods, definately the Si.. its a DOHC after all.. :D

Si DOHC - nothing to compare really. VTi is SOHC I do believe (correct me if I'm wrong) and is therefore more economical but not as powerfull...

same peak power but the Vti is vtec therefore the power comesi na rush in the high RPMs
but the SI is a NON-VTEC DOHC making same power therefore
it's more even power through out the rev range.
lol this topic has been done to death. I dont think any power difference in stock form is measureable, ESP on the street.. With mods, DOHC has more potential.
