Hi there. I am new to this forum :) Was suggested to go here from whirlpool.net.au

I have a 2012 Civic Hatch, VTi-L. I bought the Philips CrystalVision 4300K H7 bulbs and I have no idea how to put them in.

Just to confirm I have the Australian model I got in Victoria :)

Thanks.

HID's are illegal, very annoying for others and don't necessarily put out more light

a $50 hid kit also will be a piece of shit

More like $100 for a H7 pair
Add H1 and that is another $100
Add H11 and you add another $100

So that is $300

Expensive yes, but they can be gotten cheaper.

Oh okay. Thats because those are the wankers that shows off their HID even durring the day. installed the lights and didnt adjust them.
I installed my HID and pointed them down so it wouldnt blind oncoming vehicles and never gotten any complaints.

I bought my crystal visions for 60.

Brick and mortar too.

I did exactly the same when i had a FD. No attention at all either.. but then again who cares? If i was a pleeceman i wouldn't bother pulling someone over with slightly annoying lights

Most don't aim them properly, but if you aim them down it's silly because there's no point having the 'brighter' light since you can't see any further

I got the Philips CrystalVision (pair of H7 with pair of parkers) for AUD$54 delivered in one day. Great deal if you ask me. Much better than buying from the UK.

$50 for a H7 set delivered.

The local joint that sells them here has them at $100 and pretty much all the ones on ebay are the fakes.

^^ if u have noticed that the ones they are being sold locally from retail outlets all have the chinese/asian writing on the box too - just like ebay ones. And these retailers buy these from china aswell in bulk imports - just like these ebayers too.

Ive bought ebay and local items. Matched them up and they were the exactly the same. Only difference was the price.

Oh i do also believe that there are fakers out there - these can be easily identified easily :)

Don't they just have the multilingual writing on them to save costs?

Yeah the $30 diamond visions are genuine.

The chinese copiers make them look the same.

Yep. Saves on printing different packaging for different regions.
