i reckon go for b series conversion. parts r readily avaiable and plenty of aftermarket parts unlike the h22a. but then again. h22a alot cheaper.

my guess is you would really struggle to find mounts for it and would have to get them custom made which i guess would be quite costly

I know of some one who's done this and I'm telling ya it aint easy! it took him like 8 months to finish it and yes you do have to get custom mounts, driveshafts and the complete loom to make it all run sweet, best bet you should get a front cut of a 94 - 96 Prelude and then you are able to get all of the bits and pieces you may need.

H22A is not the best choice, better to go with a B20VTEC if you want torque.

you will get more power too...

i ran 13.7's all day with my B20VTEC 1990 LS :D

yeah ive thought of doing that for my integra LS but there are alot of problems .
youll have to change your mounts , you have to have the mechanic machine out some more space so your engine bay can hold the fat engine and finally the price so ... you dont want the hassle ... i was told all you can fit in a Ls with no hassles will have to be a 1.6 aka b16a vtec pretty much so its up to u bro

Yes I turned up last nite... was sorta disapointed as i guess it was more of a social gathering then anything. Dun get me wroong Alex but i don't really know you that well, met you for only the second time last nite heheheheh. But as Tinkerbell has said B20vtec will be a far superior engine if you are considering cost/difficulty. My car ran 14.4 with a stock JDM H22a/p72 ecu (only one could find at the time)/vafc to change vtec xover pt.. with standard cheap $60 second hand 14" tyres and standard LS exhaust. The potential of the h22a is greater then the b20 IMO but the cost and labour involved with fitting one far outways the power gains later on. Also Fr33k has a sexy lop sided ass.

MANGINA?

lol jks!

way out of topic!

If torque is what you are after dump the H22 and wack in a Accord Euro engine in it or a V8?

what I'm trying to say that for all that money just to be more different you might as well go Supercharge or Turbo!
