i had my delsol at close to the lowest it can go (on bump stops) for a couple weeks and yet it still is relatively high! like about 3" above the back tyre (15s with 50 series profile).

i really want it to be sittin on the tyre with 16s (45 profile) or on the rim with 17s, but if its on the bump stops and its still not low enuf what can i do??

any help is appreciated!

I have 16's with 205/45 rubber, King Low's on my del sol. At the rear there is about 1.5 inch gap. Front is about 1 inch. I think with super lows the rear would be really close to the rubber and front would be just past the rubber.

I don't know how you can your car on bump stops and still be 3" above the rubber, unless your bump stops are 4" long. Super lows should be maximum 1" above the rubber.

something seems to be wrong here... any car on bump stops is low... if you wanna go lower you can getthe shocks machined... but if your sitting on bump stops i dont thinkk it will do much..

you can always cut your bump stops or shave them down... but i dont suggest this unless you know what your doing and 100% sure of it!

i agree, i don't understand how its possible to be 3" above the tire on superlows, thats like stock ride height.

are you sure you put the springs in?

IF you put the front springs in the rear, even though they are a smaller spring then the original, it will still be the same height, as the front springs are longer then the rear.

So the springs are not in back the front are they?

does any know if a 2.5 inch drop on 15inch stockies is a good ride height???

Yes they do fit, its a really tight fit and the spring compressers will have to be done up quite tight to get the bolt on the top, but it can be done.

I did it by accident (wasn't thinking :P) and yeah....what should have been a 3" drop ended up being higher then what it was before.

Your springs are what? 3" drop? You should be sitting on the top of the wheel, so there is definetly something wrong.

VTEC: A 3" drop of stockies sits the gaurd right on the tread.
