View Full Version : Spec R Airbox for Fit/Jazz

I've just installed the airbox last night, here are a few pics.....

and of course..... the spoon sock!!! :D :D :D

its suppose to be a bolt on box, I thought it would only take about 15 mins, but end up take about 1 hour, because some original bolts doesn't fit into the holes.... but overall, the fit is pretty good...... I haven't had the chance to really "feel" out the performance difference yet, but I willl keep you guys posted....
oh...... it sounds fantastic......

looks nice :D, does it use a standard filter e.g. in size etc?

good job man Joey but u know what I am not very happy with that coz my stuff hasnt arrived yet even yrs are sent later than some of my stuff

thats almost exaclty like what ive done except . . . . the flip side!!
i put the stock box back on but this time i completely cut the botom out of it so the same amount of filter is revealed from underneath as the spec r one is on top.

whoa nice man.

the air sensor is still at the same place as the stock airbox..... this box had a hole at the same location for the plug...... :)

the car feels even more smoother now.... but the fuel consumption went up too...... ummm...... I might get a VAFC II to tune it..... :)

that's what I am wondering too..... why didn't it put the openning on the bottom..... may be its more for show than function.... :(

pornstar kind of explained to me what the resonator is for..... but I am such a noob, I didn't really fully get what it means...... can u enlighten me muli? thanks.... :)

may be the air on the bottom is cooler..... by cutting a hole on the bottom, make it breath easier?
