Hey guys, my te37s are +45. They are an awesome rim and I live them but can anyone tell me how much +22 will stick out and can you run stock rear guards and just flare them???
I don't want to put those asm flares on and cut my quarters..
Cheers

Ah so they pop out 23mm further approx...
Lol that means asm guards don't fit as +45 with asm guards just work. So what do people recommend to do with front and rear guards???

You shouldnt have to much of a issue fitting 17x9x+22 with the +25mm asm guards. Remember adding camber will give you more room.

You currently have 17x9x+45 and it sits pretty flat.
You want 17x9x+22 which will stick out 23mm more.
Asm guards are +25mm over OEM, There for you are 2mm better off then where you are now.

OK but with +45.... My wheels stick out approx 25mm from OEM guards.
Then u add asm fenders. This brings it flush....
Then I put +22 rims... This then sticks out approx 23mm further then the +45 wheels.
So I'm approx 20mm outside asm guards...

Does this make any sense? Lol
Yeh sure I can add camber but not -4 deg. Lol

Think I wanted to Run maybe -1.5 or -2 deg to begin with.

I don't know if that's enough camber to tuck under the guard...

Sorry I could be all wrong. I just wanna get this right.

I'm running the same specs and I fit under oem guards, but I'm running a 245. Your using semi slicks, running only -2 is a waste.

OK well there is more research I need to do. Lol thanks for that. What camber are you suggesting?

Depends on a lot of factors. You have changed a large amount on the car all at once so who knows. After 5-6 track days you should have a better idea.

More camber will tuck them in and make them fit

I can only run as much camber as the car needs. As too much will effect the contact patch.
I think stock camber adjustment of the front of an s2 is -2.2 I think.
I can run this set up for a while but will just shit me if I buy these guard and get the rears done etc then I want +22 and the guards no longer fit etc etc.
I want +22 lol
Maybe I should do that first.
