Does any1 have a timing chain tensioner? Is it good to have 1?

Timing chain should be replaced routinely as per service manual. Which suggests around 100k km. I did mine at 80 was cheap just pay labour to open it up

Oh and yes replace your tensioner while you're at it.

Probably confused with timing belt
But yes timing chains do snap
So proper tension is essential
