Ants in Odyssey ECU

I had my ECU replaced back in May because I lost all acceleration in my Odyssey. 2 months later a light comes on indicating engine malfunction. After further investigation I was told the ECU was "Ant infested". I have had no luck in getting this replaced under warrenty because I was told this is not a manufacturing fault. I have read from other people thats its the glue in the ECU which is attracting these ants. Can anyone give me more information about this and possible direction as to where and how I can prove this.
