Maybe it's old news, but I just got the following in an email:

"Big, big news: the NSX is back, and it’s confirmed to be coming to Australian roads.

When this supercar first launched in 1990, it represented a revolution in sports car performance. It featured a world-first all-aluminium monocoque body; a driver-focused cabin that could be enjoyed as much commuting about town as when pushing the car to its limits; and performance which owed much to the input of Formula One racing legend Ayrton Senna.

Now, it’s revolution again, as we turn to the exciting idea of launching this car in Australia once more. The all-new NSX Concept features Sports Hybrid Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD); it’s a truly remarkable system, promising an unmatched supercar experience balanced with exceptional environmental performance. To learn all about it, visit our NSX site. "

SH-AWD
has been around for about 8 years - which was introduced with the KB1 Honda Legend
It's only new because theyre putting electric motors in the front two wheels
Essentially going from super happy rear fun time
To controlable awd boring
Im just speculating here

But i hope they bring the Type R over here

as much as i hate to say this, i feel honda is going backwards with the NSX. they are just packing as much tech as possible and flogging it off as a revamp.

It may as well be a GT-R...

The NSX was a purist sport car like a 911, the Type-R like a GT3. This 'new' NSX is so far removed from that concept that its more Nissan GT-R than anything else...

Does te introduction of the new nsx
raise the price of the Na1/Na2?
Because they are rare and expensive as all shit ... and most are auto :(

But whose made more profit? Nissan with the gtr or porsche with the 911 (last 5 years only).

I dobt know the answer but would think the gtr is up there.... and it doesnt have much of the "premium" history to be able to get a higher pricetag.

Unless its uber fast, it probably wouldn't sell many units to their target market... rich mofos that like to brag.
Add that to hondas relative lack of funds compared to the late 80s and you have a company that cant take many risks and needs to ensure the nsx is popular in the target market... by making it quick regardless of how, as long as it's cheap-ish
