stock exhaust with aftermarket mufflers

Has anyone on here experimented with the stock exhaust system on a cl9 2.4 by simply removing the stock end mufflers and replacing them with chambered/turbo/cannons? If so, how does it sound?

Would depend on what muffler you get. In general, a lower cell (freer flowing) Cat and larger mufflers will make it louder, however a cheap or badly made one will make it drone.
