Anyone have this fitted? As I got this fitted today, and I have to admit that its the biggest waste of money I have ever done. The blue led lights are in the consoles in the little cubby storage area and I don't know why Honda think this is a good idea to put it there. As it does not light up the front footwells at all and the rear footwell lights light up the middle as it is connected to the main console behind and below the rear vents. Anyone modify it??

i bought a 5m coil of white leds, i am planning on hooking them up in my CL9 in the footwells, haven't gotten around to it but i'll also install them in the boot too, have a set of connectors on their way for the boot so i don't have to modify the original connector. will try to post some pics here when i am done!

There is a reason why they are so "dim". You can blame the ADR rules set out. Last time I checked you weren't allowed to have any footwell lighting as they were a "distraction". I guess Honda made them dim to get around this legislation. I have them in my 2010 Civic.

i figured, that the dimness of the foot lights are because of the smoked plastic covering. the bulb itself is pretty bright i think- i will have to see again tonight when it is dark haha.
i can show you how to remove the plastic cover if you like?

Yeah tell us how to remove this plastic cover. I got to check my ones out again where these covers are. The rear footwell lights a pretty good by the way.
