We can now confirm that Japanese Super GT and D1GP legend Max Orido will be the first driver ever to compete in both the Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge and the Tectaloy Drift Challenge at the same event.

That’s right Max will be driving the famous “ex Top Secret” R33 GTR that has now been converted to a full race spec car in the Open Class for JLM dyno and when the sun goes down he will be taking his race suit and helmet up to the South Circuit Pits where he will be piloting the extremely potent supercharged LSX Commodore for the Drift Syndicate.

Max Orido began his racing career in the early nineties and after years of racing in a one make series, he first appeared in the JGTC series in 1996 and won the GT300 title the following year.
