My engine seems to sounds louder (working harder) & reving slower..
Just wondering if bouncing revs could make your car do this.

bouncing revs? can u elaborate on that?

do the revs suddenly jump up to like redline when ur driving?

i've seen that happen on a few EF when the dizzy is starting to go

i had this rev problem, it was a few air leaks, blocked them up now seems to be much better!

if its not air leaks it might be ur clutch starting to slip...

for ur sake id hope for air leaks...

he can drive, tends to drive a bit too hard.
Gears are a bit sticky.

okay let me bring this back alive,

today i installed stuff but i wanted everyones opinion.
my euro i have installed a whole bunch of stuff like hondata gasket/p2r gasket/tb spacer & gasket/ cusco oil catch can and TB coolant bypass.

ATM, when i start the car the car revs up to 3k then drops down to 1k then keeps bouncing so forth. Addition to that there is popping noise just after the IM. Which i can see flashes of light through the gasket as it's white. After idling crazily for 30secs, the revs started to stay at the high range for a tad longer.

IMO - i think that i need to retighten the bolts where my gasket is located.

Do you guys know what the problem may be?

Cheers,
Darren

Sounds like you're not 100% convinced that your car is working harder and revving slower. Could just be that you're thinking too much about it after what your friend did (sounds like he hit the rev limiter).
