Hey guys,

Ive got a B16A and was wondering what sort of high flowed cats there are out there for a civic...
i.e. what brands are available, where they are available and how much they should cost (with installation)
Also, do i need a branded one? or will any exhaust workshop have one that i can use?

I don't believe you need a branded cat, as I haven't really heard that being discussed before. All you should need is a quality high flowing cat to fit in with your catback/exhaust. For more info and for pricing, ask your mates or just call local exhaust places and start from there. www.liverpoolexhausts.com.au should be decent enough if you're in Sydney. Hope that helps mate.
btw, you haven't stated what sort of mods you have or are planning to fit on along with this new hi-flow cat...

can't afford it...
it's too expensive!!!
so i figure i'll go the cheap option for a bit more power in the short run and then boost it later :D
in the meantime i'll search around for cheap parts until i have a complete kit and then i'll boost it :D
u got a cheap turbo handy??? :D

yeah...well it's still too expensive as a full kit...
that's the problem...i don't have enough cesh lying around to buy a full kit all at once..
so i figure i'll buy parts when i find them cheap and then sort the rest out later :D

arrrgh! i really want to boost it...but spending 6K+ on a turbo...
i find it hard to justify...unless of course everyone chipped in for me :D
hahahah
only kidding.. :D
unless u really want to :D
plus, headers and cat should help in the mean time :D

You could be earning interest on the money in the bank instead of spending it!
