Yearly mileage

So, I wondered if I was a grandpa today after checking the kilometers of my car with what I had on new years day when I did an oil change... um, 2100KM's since January 2013.

... so this is what happens when I drive down the road once a week to get the groceries...

Just a bit over 2000KMs on my FD since January because I moved houses. New house is directly across the road from the train station and shops. I work in the city so I don't need a car and my uni campus is a 7 minute walk from home. :zip:

Has anyone on here done under 2000KMs since the start of 2013? :confused:

I bought my car in december 2011 with 130kkms.

Now its at 185kkms.

That equates to around 31 thousand km a year. ;]

I do about 60,000 a year in the work car! The DA6 only gets driven half way to work by the wife and for weekend errands plus the odd casual drive by me and does about 12,000 per year.
The turbo gets about 3-4000km per year max...

Standard milage is about 20K a year in Australia, 400kms a week seems reasonable.

My CRX has done 6,000KMs in the last 4.5 years that I've owned it, at an average of 1,333KM's every 12 months. Beat that yo.

When I lost my license, over a 3 year period I only moved it onto the grass for a clean and back, around about 3kms for that period. Thank

Avg a tank a week, close to 570km

thats close to 30k KM a year. I reckon the 20,000 AVG aust needs to be updated. I reckon is close to 25k now, as Australia is growing.

i have two cars, my honda is a daily and my nissan is a weekend/fun car. on the nissan when it was driven daily i would do around 10-15k's a year on it. i avg around 200 a week driving to work and sport commitments.
