Hey guys,

So this is what happened. Full serviced the car - worked fine for a day or two but now.

- Doesn't start
* It will crank over and run if I leave the key over
* Not a battery problem because it has a new battery in it
* There is no dashboard lights or anything like that when the car is in IGN
* When the key falls back into IGN the car turns off
* If the key is 3/4 way back so it isn't continuously cranking the car will stay running but as soon as the key turns itself back to IGN car will shut off

Any ideas?

- I've checked ground because I took the head off the car to change the rocker cover gasket but put it back in.
- Checked fuses but none of them don't to be seemed blown, maybe if i was pointed to a direction of a direct one to look at?

Need help asap!

I have cleaned mine and still doesn't work - might have to track one down.

Is it the part the same as EF? Or any other civic?

Thanks,

For future reference for people as well...
- You must get a CRX switch, EF's or anything like that doesn't fit. Was told by Honda - but if anyone can tell me I'm wrong?
- You can get brand new switches from Honda for 90 - 105 dollars depending if they want to rip you off.

i rebuilt my concerto one using graphite grease from Jaycar, i opened it up, sanded the contacts lightly then applied the grease.

reassembled it then flicked it on/off a few times. Opened it up again to wipe away any excess grease.

was fairly easy and has been working fine for a year now.

I pulled it apart, cleaned it up and stuff like that. Didn't use grease, but it did work for maybe 2 - 3 hours then it stopped working again. Just going to purchase a new one and get it over and done with. Not a expensive part so it's okay.
