im experiencing rought idle with d16y4 in my cxi.....only when the air-con is on... its like the car is jumping from 500rpm to 750rpm realy fastly turn da air-con off and it runs on stock revs for idle... i have extractors, zorst, intake and filter, will this make the idle be like it is:confused:

The air conditioner.

The AC puts quite abit of stress on your car ( and any 4 cylinder car really) so its pretty normal for the revs to drop abit . . . not too much to worry about tho.
My car , a d16a8 powered civic runs similar with the AC on at low revs- but revs fine once u get going ( but dotn face a hill lol)

The RPM's should not jump up and down though. when you first put the air cond on, you will notice a decrease in RPM's, although the computer should compensate for that and raise the RPM a little bit.
