YOKOHAMA Tyre Australia has officially launched the new ADVAN Neova AD08R.

When Yokohama launched the ADVAN Neova AD08 tyre in 2009, it sent shockwaves amongst the Japanese tuning houses as it was, and still is, the first and only ever street tyre to break the 1 minute barrier around Tsukuba circuit with the HKS EVO X CZ200S (59"495).
After years of compound development, Yokohama has released the new ADVAN Neova AD08R. This time, they set the challenge to break the 1 minute barrier in a Rear Wheel Drive. Check out the video and find out how the HKS D1 GP Spec Toyota 86 went.

By introducing new innovative tyre technology, the overall performance of the ADVAN Neova tyre has evolved into something even better, inheriting the title ‘ADVAN’s most advanced street sports tyre’.
The main difference between the ADVAN Neova AD08 and ADVAN Neova AD08R is the new and improved rubber compound. Instead of a normal street compound, a new motorsport tyre compound has been applied. This same technology is used in tyres that compete at the cusp of motorsports – The World Touring Car Championship.
