Hi,

I am possibly looking at purchasing an '08 8th Gen 3.5L Accord.

Was wondering what the differences between the trim levels are.

For example the difference between the "sports" and "luxury sports".

I am only interested in the 3.5L, are these the only two trim levels available here in Australia?

Thanks in advance.

Ive got an 08 3.5. For the 08 , the only 2 trim levels for the 3.5 were v6 standard and v6 luxury.

To the best of my memory, the v6L compare to v6 contained differences such as:

SAT NAV, subwoofer , HID headlights (not projectors) , fog lights, sunroof, heated seats, leather interior including steering wheel, gear knob and armrest, different style wheels (still 17").

Thanks for reply.

So i think ive narrowed my search down to BMW 330Ci, probably pretty expensive to keep on road. Lexus IS250, but for one i want with gps, sunroof, air-con seats, looking at over $20K. Accord I can get for around $17 with 50,000km. Seem pretty nice. Are there any known problems? Like with the cylinder shutdown system for example? Are they fairly cheap to keep on the road?

Thanks.

make sure the automatic transmission has had its service as the torque from the v6 rips em apart

What gets serviced on the transmission apart from oil and at how many k's?

I wouldn't mind knowing the answer to that question! I have a 2008 8th Gen 3.5 V6 with 56,000kms. Have had no problems in the 2 years I have owned it, but some preventative maintenance would sure be good to do!

Even though it says for Euro
The Euro and normal accord share the same engine & transmission components
