Hi guys, looking to buy a bisimoto header for my dc2r, their site says it's can't be used with ps or ac but It doesn't look like it would hit the compressor/pump. Am I missing something?

Would there be a difference between lhd/rhd mounting of ac/ps?

Maybe to allow for clutch/throttle lines but I wouldn't have thought so. Just went outside to check my dc2r bay now, maybe it will hit the ac compressor but I don't think so

mate

How about you believe what they tell you lol ? Its a fact that it doesnt work (as is) with power steering or air conditioning.

Or how about this. You buy the header and tell us if it fits.

I have a feeling it's specific to us spec motors, just want to know if anybody can give a logical explanation as I can't see one, definitely won't hit the ps pump. Thanks for the helpful reply though

The ac and ps pumps, are located on the same location as our rhd and ( correct me ) are the same dimensions .Logic tells me if they say it doesn't work, it won't work lol. Good luck with it

Why not spoon header?

Only spoon header flows up to 11k rpm

This might give you a better idea why it wont fit

Looks like it will hit the condenser/ps cooler not the actual pump/compressor unit

Makes best power on bseries of any header (that I'm aware of). Already got a half size rad

Makes the best power off the shelf? maybe. Unless youre building it up with the same sort of powerband in mind as the bisi guys do it, id wager that you could get better with a custom setup.

im asking if they stste you need a half size rad, because if they dont... total wtf at them stating you cant run ac/ps. unles its just assumed everyone runs a half size rad???

Apparently it does, will see when it arrives. I would like a custom header but can't justify the $$. They do specify you need half size rad

Sorry to bring this back up, but I think this might help some people in the future who want to get these headers. I know I really wanted to get them but I had to go a different route due to converting to a full size radiator.

Any way, these indeed work with P/S and A/C (judge for your self) but not a full size radiator.

Above pick is a b18 in a EK chassis.

Hope that helped someone.

I've heard those headers make excellent power due to the runner length, which also improved ground clearance.

They look kinda stupid to me though...
