Resonator

Hi guys, :honda:

Does anyone know how to remove the resonator in a EG civic to make room for a CAI?
I'm having trouble removing one of the 10mm bolt. Its the one in between the "U" pipe.
I have search but only found the EK DIY.
If anyone can offer any help, it would be very appreciated.

yeah i know which one your talking about.. right in the middle of the U.
from what i remeber u need to use a socket set that has the screwdriver instead of the ratchet.

yeh i tried the gentle approach but wouldnt work. i did as zelda said. rip that sh!t down!!
resonator is just to muffle/quiten the air going to airbox/pod

the hell?! no wonder every1 removes the resonator! all the while i thought it stores some kinda coolant liquid for the engine X.x

yeah its pretty useless especially if u have already modded your intake
