Recaro Seat

Hi all,

Im currently looking at purchasing a Recaro Speed seat which will be eventually used in an EG Civic, when I can afford, currently tho I have an 88 ED6 Civic. I assume I will need some custom rails made if I wish to fit it to my ED6 which can be done at any auto engineer? I also know they arn't legal without a engineers cert.. is 500 to 600 a standard fee and does anyone have an educated price estimate on rails.

Just thought I would write a quick question before I ring around, cheers.

PS. does anyone have measurements on type R seats e.g. bolting points for rails etc

lol i used my stock railes wen i poot crx seats on 2 my 88 ed and i just poot steal bars on the rails so i can fit the seat on :S

hmm i was thinking about something similar, thanks for da input. I dont really want to fork out cash for engineering as ill prob sell the car at the end of the yr
