How to slide out the pins from this connector?
spent ages on this and got nowhere.
it had a small plastic cover on top that I took off, looks like some kind of locks in there but can't work it out. Tiny screwdriver in the front also did nothing

in your first photo use a long needle and lift the plastic tab that is pressing down on the metallic connector from the front, at the same time pull on the wire gently from the rear.

Thanks ECU-MAN
i've fiddled with the bloody thing for about an hour and it absolutely will not budge. I can't even see the plastic tab in there.
The hassle is the ~2cm of wire you can see in the photo is all there is, and they go straight into a sleeve inside the dash so its impossible to pull one at a time. Tried to use 2 micro screwdrivers to do both at once, but need 4 hands! :-(
Welcome to the wonderful world of auto electrics... can see why auto electricians charge what they do, probably to make up for al the cuts n scrapes on they're hands from teh dash trim :-(
thanks anyway
