Hey guys,

i know there is so many threads on this topic but i want to hear first had.

people using Rays aluminium Lugs for the track... has anyone had an issue.

also what torque spec? 80ft pounds?

i have the blue ally lugs and some people are shit canning then saying done use them for track because you will lose a wheel or the ally will strip then loose a wheel then die.

any input is welcome.

I have seen Rays nuts strip wheel stud threads too many times. Use Project Mu or similar wheel nuts

Haven't seen Rays do too much damage, then again I don't see Rays Lugs that much... Like stndrd said, Kics Revo R40 also a good option ^_^

Whats so good about project mu? Are they made of a superior metal?

thanks heaps guys

haha i dont know. they say project mu and they are floating lugs and they are steel rather than aluminium. and anything feels more safe than aluminium.

i reckon the rays ones will be fine but have heard some pretty bad stories. rather not risk it.

Yeah i use steel, though never had a problem with my old alloy ones. only thing with steel is you should put a lil bit of anti-seize to stop em rusting the stud and nut together.

i would use steel 100% on the track

the weight makes fukall difference
